Happy Indian Food Day

1

I didn’t get a chance to blog last night because we went to bed ridiculously early – the pilot had to be in at 4:30 this morning! I’m pretty positive I wouldn’t be able to function that early.. not a morning person at all.

Yesterday afternoon, I met up with Jeni at the gym to do some arms before teaching spin.

Here’s what we did, from what I remember:

Warm up Elliptical 5 minutes; 10 crossramp, 5 resistance
Pec and press 8 lbs each 3 sets of 12
Assisted pullup Counterweight 95 lbs 3 sets of 12
Decline leg lifts (abs) Body weight 3 sets of 12
Straight bar press down 40 lbs 3 sets of 12
Leaning back concentration curl 8 lbs each 3 sets of 12
Stability ball push-ups Body weight 3 sets of 12
Dumbbell toe touch 5 lbs 3 sets of 12
Stability ball Ts and Is 3 lbs each 3 sets of 12
Cool down Elliptical 5 minutes; 10 crossramp, 5 resistance

It was a pretty awesome workout and then I came back to the casa to get ready for spin and my training appointment.

I packed up a veggie platter to-go:

Coconut water for electrolytes:

Spin was glorious (I LOVE me a packed house!!!!) and I used the Monday playlist. After spin, I came back to the other gym for a training appointment and back to the casa for some dinner.

Dinner was a delicious culture clash:

An eggstada and caprese salad

I made an egg + an egg white flat and topped it with spinach, sweet onion, tomato, lots of salsa and chili pepper flakes

Caprese salad with a giant beefsteak tomato, sea salt and pepper, goat gouda (I have yet to find goat mozzarella) and basil from my little garden

After taking the pics, I covered everything in red chili flakes and went to town. Deeeeelicious.

Since we went to bed with the old people last night, I woke up extra early to take the puppers on their walk. Megan joined us today, and it was awesome to have someone to talk to while we took the puppies around the neighborhood 😀

When we got home, I made a lovely sludge.

1 banana, 1 mango, 1/2 avocado, container of coconut water, liquid Stevia, vanilla, sea salt and Vega smoothie infusion.

I think it’s the smoothie infusion that makes it look like sludge:

So creamy, tropical and scrumptious.

Today is a 3 aerobics classes day, so you can expect lots of food in my future (including INDIAN!) and I should be back later this afternoon.

*******I’m thinking about getting a flip cam this weekend to make some fun videos while Meg is around and for when we’re at school. Do you any of you have a flip cam?? Do ya love it? What kind should I get??? And most importantly, do they have pink? 😀

Hope you all have a wonderful day!
